Staff Nurse Vacancy (Nursing Home) Carna, Co. Galway

Role: Staff Nurse – Full time (permanent) Location: Nursing Home based in Co. Galway Essential Requirements: - Should be fully registered with An Bord Altranais and on their live register - Proven clinical competence in the care of the older adult and a genuine interest in this area of nursing. - Adopt a patient centred approach to nursing care at all times and friendly manner - Speak fluent English and be able to work within the EU - Flexible to work different shifts Summary: - Providing the best nursing care possible to elderly service users. - Hands on approach with patients, caring and energetic attitude required - Assist in ordering, administering, monitoring and recording of service users medications - Liaising with families, GPs and other auxiliary agents - Ensuring all current legislation is adhered too - A team player, helping promote great working conditions, colleague relations and care to clients Terms of Employment: Hourly Rate: €13.50 Working Hours: 39 hours a week as per roster Holidays: 29 Days (including public holidays) Accommodation: While you are an employee of the Nursing Home you will receive access to free accommodation including electricity and heating.
