Lessons are taught in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, whether you want to prepare for auditions or grade exams/Junior or leaving cert practicals/have the confidence to sing at a friends wedding or to sing for the fun of it! Classical/pop/opera/musical theatre/ballads/sacred & folk music and more Lessons include: Breathing/support/posture/vocal strength/tone quality/diction/range development/performance&presence/ and building repertoire. Wednesdays. City centre Linsey was born in Wicklow and graduated with a B.A Music performance degree (Hons) from the D.I.T Conservatory of Music and drama and then continued her studies in London. Her operatic roles have included Mercedes Carmen, Marcellina The marriage of Figaro, and Martha Faust. Linsey has been a finalist and a prize winner at many competitions. She has been awarded the mezzo soprano cup (Dublin Feis Ceoil) & Denis O’ Sullivan medal (Royal Irish academy of music). Concert engagements have included Bach’s Christmas Oratorio (D.I.T) and Faure’s Requiem (St. Patrick’s Cathedral). Recitals have taken her as far as the UK, France and Italy and at home she has performed around the country and at a lunch time concert in Aras an Uachtarain. Linsey has taken part in master classes with Alison Browner, Regina Nathan, Susan McCulloch and Robin Bowman. She has performed with Opera Ireland for many years and recent engagements include the role of Giovanna Rigoletto for Anna Livia opera festival. Book before May 18th & get 1 lesson free!!
