Data Entry FETAC Level 4

Training Aim: To enable the Learner to gain a thorough working knowledge of data entry functions enabling efficient and accurate data input using the keyboard or a voice input system. Objectives: Acquire a thorough working knowledge of all data entry functions Develop the skills necessary to display a limited range of documents to mailable standard Develop basic proof-reading skills Develop good work habits, and the efficient use of equipment and materials Outline Training Plan: The specific learning outcomes are grouped in 3 units. Unit 1: Data Entry Unit 2: Document Production Unit 3: Proof Reading Training Duration: 30 hours approx (depending on Learner's prior knowledge/existing skills). Course Fee: Upon request (discounted group and FÁS/CE participant) Record System Access Database, as approved by FETAC. All results are recorded on our database and comply with the Data Protection Act 1988.Project and Examination. Assessment & Certification: All assessment is devised by the Internal Assessor, with external modification by FETAC.
